Ive got a tube, its bacitracin zinc, neomycin sulfate, and polymyxin b sulfate. i had quail get swollen eyes like that, usually from getting a scratch with poopies around the eye, and with neosporin it cleared up 100% within a week or two. You should see some kind of results within 4-5 days of using it. itstarted first with the coloring going from red to pink and then the swelling gradually went down. but yeah reurra is right, you should see results in a week if its treatable.

I was just about to start a thread about my birds swollen eye.
he was fine yesterday and today she's barely opening one eye.
It's not as bad as the above pictures.
Should I use neosporin?

I would try. It looks like your hen might have been pecked. Monitor and see if it clears up. I had to put mine down - nothing worked.

I put triple antibiotic on it that night and she was able to open it the next day however the other eye swelled up. it wasn't as bad as the first eye and seemed better the next day. Seeing that it involved both eyes, I don't think it was caused by being pecked.
She seemed fine yesterday...eating and running around in the yard with the others.

Sorry you had to let him go. Its always hard to make that decision. Take joy in your other birds!
