Eye Issue

It would help if you could get another pair of hands to treat her. It may be easier to have everything read, and grab her off the roost early in the morning, and then repeat that in the evening when she goes to roost. A red light on a headlamp flashlight works well for this. They do not know that you are sneaking up on them.
I do have a friend down the street that can help me. Do you suggest trying to remove the white stuff? Or would that make it worse? Can I use eye wash from the store for humans?

I thought I would update this post. A couple days after I posted this my friend came over and we were trying to see if we could get a closer look at her eye. She pushed under her eye and a huge white chunk of something came out. Then she pushed on the top and the rest of it came out. No clue what it was but she can see fine and her eye is fine. Craziest thing!

It sounds like infection and pus in the eye. Glad that you got it out. I would follow up with some Terramycin eye ointment in the eye twice a day. Neosporin is good if you cannot get the other.

I did put antibiotics in her eye after. This was a little while back. I just wanted to post an update. Thank you!
