One of my new Barnevelder roos got his eye pecked and is now blind in that eye. [IMG] I've had this happen with another bird and because he kept twisting his neck up to see, he never got any food and I had to put him down. This bird does something similar, but seems to want to eat.

Give him a chance, I have heard of chickens surviving with one eye.

I had a completely blind chicken that lived fine, until it accidentally wondered out on the road and was hit by a car:(

I agree! I have one chicken that went blind in one eye due to an infection and she does absolutely fine! [IMG]
