One of our girls has a mild eye issue that just happened in the last hour or so. Between some breezy days lately and high allergen content floating around in the air, it looks like an irritation rather than anything more. Of course, we don't have any NFZ Puffer on hand right now and since it's Easter Sunday and there's a pandemic happening, no stores that would carry it are open.
Does anyone have suggestions for alternatives we might have around the house? Would making a saline solution work (if so, what ratio, etc.)? Add ACV to their water (did this already just in case so I want to know if it actually helps)? Of course we're keeping their water and pond clean and they're confined to their (large) enclosure for now. Thank you for any help!
UPDATE a few hours later: She's behaving entirely as usual and her eye looks totally normal, so I'm not panicking anymore. It must've just needed to be flushed out and I'm sure napping helped, to keep other things from flying in.
