I hope someone out there knows what is wrong with my Rooster's eye. We noticed it was weeping and cleaned it the other night. I read a bunch of posts and I decided to clean it with a warm tea bag the next morning. Later that day he had it open. The next morning he kept it close and he was damp on that side of his head & neck.
He eats normal and runs around with the other birds during the day.
I asked around and terramycin seemed to be the best eye antibiotic. I have contacted two vets & three feed stores and was told it's on back-order about six months.
I really don't want this guy to loose his eye (even though it may be too late now).

He was not very cooperative about his photo as he kept turning to face me with his good eye.
The eye seems to be sinking in it's socket. It gets puss in it at night while he's roosting.
I was going to get vetercyn but someone told me it's mostly bleach and may make it worse? (this was all they had at TSC)

Does anyone have any idea what is wrong & what I can do to help him? He is only five months old and so far he is so sweet. I fear if it is infected that it will spread beyond just his eye.
