Eye swelling and sneezing.

My pullet hen thats about 10 months old has been acting fine today but I noticed her left eye was swollen, almost swollen shut. Then as I was following her around to see that issue I noticed she is sneezing, what could be causing this and what is a fix for it?

Sounds like a possible respiratory problem. Do you have any Tylan on hand? How is your pullet doing today?

It actually only lasted one day then it was gone, weird but at least she is better

Glad to hear that it went away. That is weird though. Maybe it was an allergy.

It was the first day that I put sand on their new coop floor, maybe she kicked up some sand dust or something

Yep, you could be right. The next time something like that happens, try to do a saline solution rinse a couple times a day to try to wash out any dirt or sand.
