Eye swollen

I have a hen whose eye is swollen shut look like she may have stuck something in it . Has any one had this happen before and what can I put in or on the eye to help.It look real painfull.DK

I posted a thread like this back a couple of weeks ago.
The chick ended up having a piece of cracked corn underneath his second eye lid. I had my husband hold back the external eye lid and I took my thumb and finger and pushed the piece of corn out.
