Eye tumor?

I have a 6 year old Speckled Sussex named Buttercup who is very healthy and happy but over the last couple months I have noticed a small growth over her right eye. It doesn't cause her any issues. Her eye isn't irritated or inflamed.

Just curious if anyone else has had something similar develop in an older hen. Sadly, at the rate it's growing I'm thinking it may become a quality of life threatening issue in the near future.

It could be a cyst. Is it hard or soft? Is there any sign of a dot or peck on the cyst? I had a rooster with a hard cyst on his upper eyelid, and he did fine, but if it grows too large it could block some eyesight.
