Eye worm?

I think my one year old Australorp has an eye worm. I noticed a white area in the corner of her right eye last week. I have treated her with Vet rx for the last three days. I don't see any improvements but she doesn't seem worst either.

Just wondering if I should try to squeeze it out like the you tube videos? Any ideas or experiences to share?[COLO
