Sure. Firstly, Make your character unique. Think about your friends, or personality traits that you think make a good and interesting person.
For this roleplay they are wild chickens, meaning that there are probably no purebred D'uccles (unfortuanatally) so probably keep it more natural
While you're roleplaying, remember that you can only control your character. Don't try to always make your character the star of the show. (it's ok to make a scene once and a while, but if someone else's character's chicks are hatching, don't have a fox come and fight your character or something.)
And... have fun.

Life story: Born in EbonyFlock, he is very socially awkward, and backs down easily. Henceforth, he became so low in the pecking order that he had to leave.
He eventually make it to DawnFlock, where they accept him, but is still very low in the pecking order.
