Coal decided to go see Splash. He hadn't seen her in a while, and they were very close.

He went to her burrow and called down,"Can I come in?"

"Yes...." She pushed for her egg to come out. "You may...." She pushed again.

Duke followed Cloud, walking next to her. He had to be the tough protective one here.

Splash pushed again, the egg still not coming out. "Yup...." She took a deep breath and pushed again. The cream egg with brown speckles came out this time and she moved it around with her beak.

Splash looked up with lit eyes. "Thanks," She murmured and went back to rolling her egg around. She got it into the perfect spot and plopped back down onto it. Her broody instincts took over so she accidentally clucked to it.
