Ruby was also eavesdropping. "It wasn't that hard for me." She shrugged. "Maybe we could do it together, Daffy!" She suggested, trying to encourage her friend.

Toad felt excitement bubble up inside him, and got closer to Eerie, to where their feathers brushed.

“I can feel eggs.” She said, slightly worried. “I didn’t think I was ready, but I guess my body decided for me. Are you ready to raise chicks?” She said, turning to him.

"But I was born as a yellow chick and THEN I turned white. This chick will be white ALL her life and WHO KNOWS if she has a higher risk for health risks that's the reason" Clara glares back

Toad looked into her worried but hopeful eyes and whispered, " We will be the best parents. I will take them for rides on my back, and you can show them the stars. We will go through things together, but this is the best part. We'll do it together."
