Raven raced into camp, shrieking, "Robin is dead!! SOMEONE MURDERED ROBIN!" Snowberry snapped to attention and raced over to where Raven was pointing. Eerie gasped. Fern, who was busy admiring her eggs, didn't hear.

Jay stood and nuzzled the chicks to do the same. "Follow me," She clucked. And they did.

Snowberry stared down at Robin's body. It could have been a predator, he told himself. But no. The slashmarks were too jagged to have been a hawk's; they were made by blunt claws. And what sort of predator wouldn't eat their kill?
It was true.
Someone had murdered Robin.
