She suddenly woke up when she heard Eerie talk. She was not the heaviest sleeper. "Eerie?" She asked sleepily. She also saw Percy. "What's wrong?" She asked, forgetting about her fairy egg.

"Phew," Percy muttered quietly. "Eerie's here to check on you," he told Ruby.
“Percy says you laid a teeny tiny egg.” Said eerie.
"Oh, right!" She stood up to show it to Eerie. "Is it fine that I laid this tiny egg?" She asked her.

Splash finished sunbathing and figured that it was about time to stop with her break. She filled up her crop with food and water and flew back to her burrow, leaving Coal behind. She settled onto her eggs and clucked to them.
