Coal left to find some moss in the forest. It took him a little while, but he eventually found some and brought it back to the burrow. "I'm back!", he exclaimed," where should I put it?"

"Hmm," Ruby said, thinking. She saw a grub near a rock and ran over to it. She ate it quickly and flipped over the rock that was next to it.

"Ooh," Percy went over to Ruby and clucked.

"I'll take it," She said kindly and took it from his beak. She put the moss under her bare stomach next to the egg. She got to see the egg while it was hatching for the first time. It had a big pip and looked like it would be zipping soon. She took her head out from underneath her and looked at Coal. "It looks like it will be zipping soon!"

"Ooh," Percy went over to Ruby and clucked.

Ruby gobbled up a bunch of the delicious bugs and let Percy have some too. She nuzzled Percy once again since she was so excited and happy.

Ruby gobbled up a bunch of the delicious bugs and let Percy have some too. She nuzzled Percy once again since she was so excited and happy.

Percy chomped the grubs while clucking. He nuzzled her back. He was glad that she was here with him.

Sage agreed. “Look, you can see the chick’s feathers a little! They look blue.”

"I'm so excited!", Coal exclaimed.

Splash looked back underneath herself. "So cute!" She said. "Me too!" She looked at Coal.

Percy chomped the grubs while clucking. He nuzzled her back. He was glad that she was here with him.

Ruby scratched for more grubs while clucking also. She finished the rest of the grubs quickly and looked at Percy.
