Henri's eyes widened. "Wow. Now I won't have to be the only green egg layer in the flock!" She said excitedly.

"Oh, you poor thing!" She said and scooped her up into her wing. "Let's go look." She said and started to search.

Duck watched in terror as Sparrow moved on to another corpse, clearly unaware of Duck watching. The next corpse was so deformed, Duck could only tell it was a chicken by the shape of its toes. " I'm going to kill the whole flock." Spareow whispered to it. "One by one." Duck couldn't hold back a gasp as Sparrow whiled around and snarled, "I hear you breathing! You wont be after I find you, " she threatened. Duck bolted through the trees, tripping over sticks and road stools, he could hear her advancing behind him.

Rain, who was lingering in the forest, raced alongside the chick, and pulled him into an abandoned tunnel that connected to the flock ones. Ferns and vines hid the entrance, which was too small for an adult chicken.

Toad's comb turned bright red and he replied awkwardly, "Uh, I hope so."
