FANTASTIC NEWS: I've been waiting a few days to post this, but my little hen is doing well! I started her on .5cc of LA-200, then went down to .25cc of LA-200. A vet came out to look at my cows and she had us switch to .1cc of Baytril for 5 days. We're on day 3 of that, and my little hen is going to live!! She's up & active with her eyes open - eating and drinking and pooping.

UPDATE: 2 STEPS FORWARD, 1 STEP BACK

This little hen was doing so well that I released her to be with the rest of the flock yesterday. But this morning, she was still on the roosting bar and one of her eyes was back to being shut.

Ugh! She had been doing so well! She hasn't had an eye shut in over a week, but then one night outside, and she's down for the count...

She's back in the guest bedroom & back on antibiotics for now.

These respiratory issues can be stress triggered. This isn't unusual that you see a relapse.
