3 chicks from hatching eggs all from same source. Have been with all my other chicks since 6/5 so almost 2 months. No other chicks with problems.

Eye got a bit pink looking with clearish corner of the eye and progressed in one to really looking like pressure pushing the eye. No other symptoms- no sneezing or coughing. Eat and drink. One eye looks like a normal healthy chick. Other eye like this.

For past maybe 4 or 5 days oral Tylan 50 1/8 to 1/4 ml once per day. Also plain Neosporin in eye. No big improvements but maybe dosing too low.

Any ideas on what I'm dealing with without scaring me to death like when I Google my own health and all roads lead to cancer? I have a large flock of about 100 healthy birds in various coops. They free range.

Since you have 3 with similar symptoms, I would take a guess and say you are dealing with a respiratory disease like Mycoplasma.
I would get some Terramycin and try that in the eyes along with flushing them a few times a day with saline.

How much do the chicks weigh? Tylan50 is given 3 times a day - dosage is 0.25 ml per pound of weight given orally 3 times a day for 5 days. Not sure if you should "re-do" the Tylan50 or not.

Thank you. I will check more carefully on weights and maybe give another day or so of Tylan. Will check on availability of Terramycin.

Saline - basically just natural tears eye drops? Any particular ingredients to avoid? Or eye wash?

I could try Denagard after Tylan I suppose and see if that goes any better?
