Face Fleas! Help!

Hi all,
I’ve had my 4 girls for 7 and 1/2 years and this is the first time they’ve ever had fleas on their faces.
I’ve put DE on the areas they take dust baths in, changed out their bedding and put DE, but should I be doing something else?? Most things I’ve seen people recommend have been to put on the ground, in the coop, or to dust their vents. But the fleas are on their faces, not sure what products are okay to put on.

Suggestions?

Two have the fleas worse than the other two, and I feel so sorry for them! They look so itchy.

Sounds like you may have Sticktight Fleas. Take a look at the photos and treatment in the article below. Unfortunately, DE is not going to be an effective treatment. You can find Permethrin based products at feed stores like TSC or online.
