Thank you all for your kind words and advice.

I do agree that they were out of line for saying those things. For all she knows, she could be in the same boat.
She and her BF are drug addicts and I was (in the past) worried about her drastic weight loss due to those drugs. As some may know, you need a certain percent of body fat to have a monthly and be able to conceive. I was actually afraid this girl wouldn't be able to. I still believe she can't.

Sometimes I feel bad for those people who have to make such a deep dig at another person just to feel good about themselves. But then I realized that any emotion, even pity, is wasted on people like herself.

I have purged her, her friends and others connected to her (and other girls who don't like me

) from my contact list and friends list and wish to have nothing further to do with them. The only things keeping me from filing charges against them is the fact that I don't want to have any contact with them and that, for now, they are leaving me alone.

I have everything on hard copy for future use. I have my own mother and at least 2 other family members of mine that witnessed what was being said. There were others who read what was going on as well but have expressed their wishes to be kept out of it and I'll respect that.
This girls own extended family have come to me in emails voicing their concerns over what was said.

For now, I think I'll just keep my eyes open and watch my back. I usually don't go out in public without my boyfriend or another large friend coming with me so I know I'll be safe when I go out at least. If either girl contacts me again (because I have told them to STOP or I'll call the police) then she will pay dearly for that mistake. I will then file a restraining order and press harrassment charges.

I just wanted to add that even though you might not be able to have a baby, it doesn't mean that one day when things are right you couldn't adopt. Giving birth doesn't make one a mother- it is all the years afterward that confer the title and the love that comes with it. From the sound of it your former friend has zero chance of being someone's mom. She'll just be an embarrassment the poor kid tries to live down all his/her life.

I do plan to adopt someday when I'm more financially stable. My whole family has always said I was the one that was born to be a Mom. I know I deserve it. And someday I'll have it.
I was going to try IVF but it's so expensive!! I can't hand out a $5000.00 down payment.
In the meantime, thankfully, I have a neice and a nephew. And my BF has 2 kids that I love so much! I am already blessed.

people are just cruel.. Sounds like she knows shes in the wrong and just jumped on the defense, not caring or thinking it would hurt you.. If it was me I'd cut ties, and depending on how good a friend she is (i know the drugs can change people) then let her know once she straightens up you'll be there for her. As far as facebook goes I'd block her that way you can't see anything she might say to hurt you and she'll be less lilkely to post anything since you can't see it.. Hope things work out dont let it get you down.What she said about you is something you cant change and your not in the wrong for.. what she's doin is making bad choices and something she can change. And who knows you might just show her that you can one day.. dont give up..
