Hi have just purchased our first chickens and fell in love with this trio, they have been sold as a very rare Cream Hamburg? All three are quite different so suspect they are hybrids but interested to find out of its fact or fiction?

To me they look like a golden penciled crossed with a white hamburg.
All the right forms are there for it to be hamburg. I just think they are crossed.
Nice looking birds none the less.
I could be wrong but I did not see cream as a color listed.

Someone else may have other ideas.

Thanks :) Apparently there is only one breeder of cream Hamburgs who is now in his 80s and whilst no reference is made to them online the creams are listed in some very old poultry society manuals. Haven't been able to find anything about creams either and was kind of hoping that someone else had or knew something about them.

They look like someone's project birds. Could be a good start for a very intensive breeding program, or just to hatch out pretty babies.

Thanks that's what I was thinking too, her eggs are cream too. I'm just starting out so looking forwards to lots of help and advice from everyone :)
