“help, i' m brand new at raising chicks, just got them on thursday, so they are 2 days old, i have 18, but one seems very lethargic, is there anything i can do, i changed the pine shavings and placed the sick one in a cut down lg ceral box with her own food and water to keep her from the others, is there something i should know? the chicks came vaccinated and i bought the medicated grain, that was all they had on the shelve,i read that they can get coccacie (sp) are they all doomed””

, oh well, she just passed,

, hope the others will do better, will call the store where i got them for advice for med and the food i bought there, ps the others are moving all over the place and quietly chirping , they are rhode island reds

So sorry for your loss. Sometimes when they are very young you can loose a couple from the stress of shipping. Good luck with the rest of your chicks!
