Oh there is! I enjoy going there. I have an appointment I have to go do, but I'll get to spend a bit of time in the city and that is always nice :)

Lismore? I've been there a few times! The castle :love Amazing! And the area around Lismore is heartbreakingly beautiful.
 
My Newman fought off a Mink and won. The mink got into the run. Two hens died, two hens survived and Newman was shook. I took him to the vet. It took him over a month to come right.

To lose him, nastily, to fox...he didn't die right away. The fox ripped his entire rear off.

Nature is cruel. With time we heal and move on!

So I am starting to get excited about starting over:)

Newman was stunning and it sounds like he was as beautiful on the inside. I, too, lost my father recently, just before decided to get chickens. I know he would have loved coming over to watch chicken TV with me. I'm sorry for the double hit you've taken. Eventually, you will only remember them with fondness and smiles instead of reliving the pain of loss. :hugs
