I have a polish chick that is sleeping almost constantly. Like I truly never see it do anything besides sleep. It’s 6 or 7 days old now (I’ve had so many hatches lately I can’t remember for certain) and is growing in new wing feathers but still just seems so tiny and so so sleepy. Wondering if I should remove her from the brooder and isolate her inside? If so - any tips on a DIY small brooder for just the one chick? I live 45 minutes from a tractor supply so can’t easily get anything tonight. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. TIA 🐣

Do you have any b complex vitamins? Unfortunately, ftf chicks just tend to slip away.
I have given her 98° sugar water, warm scrambled egg, and electrolytes. I’ve never had a failure to thrive chick before so it’s hard to bear witness ☹

do I need to isolate her for the others’ safety or just let her be until she passes on?

Maybe some organic apple juice or if you don't have any slice up some apples add a little bit of water then pop it into the microwave a couple minutes.
Apples have B vitamins and sugar in it. I gave it to my struggling day old chick and he perked up a lot although he had splay leg.

I will try the apple juice - thanks! And go to tractor supply this morning for some vitamins provided she is still alive. I haven’t made it out to check on them yet (I’ve got a human baby to take care of as well!)
