Investigating Fake „Open in app store“ pop up

I keep getting this when I am on BYC. Started yesterday. It’s a maleware typenof bug on your site. Please fix!

I get this too! From my iPhone!

I just got 4 in a row when I opened the window and tried to click on a reply and the home.

All happened in the minute of 1:17.

I’m getting the same thing on Chrome on my mobile device. US Central, been happening a few days now

4:04 and 4:09pm central time, on mobile google chrome. Just had this happen again with the blank redirect for an ad of the homepage.

We're digging into this and trying to duplicate / isolate it.

A quick question: Is this only happening to users on Apple devices?

If you're experiencing this, please let us know the exact time you see the ad and also the device and browser you're using.

Example: I saw the ad on my iPhone 4s at 11:16 am PST using the Safari browser.
