Fake Eggs

What are you wanting to do with the eggs?

If you're wanting them to put in nesting boxes, you don't have to have the realistic looking fake eggs. Golf balls (color doesn't seem to matter) and plastic Easter eggs do the trick just as well.

Yeah, that's why I was asking. I use those plastic Easter eggs and the girls catch on very well.

Fill em with sand for weight, and paint if necessary.

I've always had decent luck with golf balls.

Be careful about buying the decorative eggs they sell at craft stores. Some have acrylic coatings that start melting, leaving you with a sticky, messy fake egg.
