Has anyone ever used fake plants for their pheasant pen? Where I built mine no plants will grow, but I want them to have some coverage. Or if there’s any low light bushes/coverage, I could try pots?

I’m not sure of what kind of plants, just hard plastic ones. I was considering getting plastic vines and weaving it through a dome of hardware cloth, to make a hide of sorts. But that’s the only thing I could think of.I haven't tried it with my pheasants, but I've given my king quails fake fish tank plants. You need to make sure they couldn't eat any of them, because that could be very harmful. What sort of fake plants were you thinking?

It would be the hard plastic ones, like for reptiles. So they shouldn’t be able to eat them.Okay, that may work. As long as they can't eat them, it should be okay.
