Hello everyone!
I am new to duck ownership. For my son's 18th birthday he said he wanted ducks, so here we are with 6 ducks! We have 3 Khaki Campbells, 2 blue runners, and 1 Cayuga. Our little feathered friends joined our family the first week of June. The blue runners were shipped from TN and the other four were picked up at a Tractor Supply store here in WI. Our little flock has a nice big duck house (it used to be the swing set playhouse) and a large run with a kiddie pool. They also free range in our yard with access to a second larger kiddie pool on occasion when someone is out supervising. These first few months have been very entertaining. It's become our new favorite summer activity, sitting on the patio watching the ducks splashing in the pool, eating bugs and my hostas!
Our family owns and runs a construction company so my husband and two oldest boys are working all day, my two youngest are still in school and I am the one home all day with the ducks. They have quickly become my obsession
