Vulture hocks? Yes
Oh my word, I knew it was vulture hocks. Lol not falcon hocks. That’s to funny. I was just talking to my sister about these falcons didn’t even give it a thought what I was saying. Thank you for the correction . I thought that’s what these are. The genetics are weird, I seen siblings from the exact same flock that does not have these vulture hocks as of yet anyway. This girl had them from early on. She still just so sweet and very fun to watch run or jog. I have orders chicks from a different breeder hopefully they don’t end up with them.

@Rhodebar Lover is an excellent one to talk to about Brahmas if you ever have any breed specific questions! 😁

In Europe, to my understanding vulture hocks are accepted. They also have many more varieties of Brahmas. So when you buy unusual varieties in the US, they often have the vulture hocks trait because they likely had ancestors from overseas and are bred to the European standard. :) Since yours is blue partridge, this is very likely the case. Since it's not accepted in the United States anyways, you could just breed them more to the standards from overseas. I had some vulture hocks in my Brahmas from some of the more rare varieties. It depends on your end goal of breeding I suppose :)
