My lovely barred rock Pearl. This warrior hen came back from being literally scalped by my male Guinea. After a long recuperation in ICU (intensive chicken unit), we not only grew closer, but she is living proof that chickens are incredibly tough! I love this girl and when we look eye to eye, I can truly see the gratitude and love. ♡

I'm really tempted to buy some pumpkins, and make a little turkey/pilgrim outfit for out turkeys .... I wonder if the dollar store would have felt I could cut up and glue to make chicken/turkey outfits.
