im getting a few baby chicks for my birthday next year

4 pullet chicks 1 BR pullet 1 buff orpington pullet, 1 light brama pullet, and I cant pick another one. Cant make up my mind!

Yeah, the first three are my faves, but im thinking of geting a roelde island white.... Still looking at hatcherys. Some dont have the ones I want....

I just finished setting 29 eggs. 13 hatched. This was my first try, and my chickens were only 5 months old. I plan on filling my entire incubator next time (40). Just curious. Your eggs will hatch in the dead of winter. When will the chicks be able to be outside and withstand the freezing weather ?
I may join you, if I can figure out what to do with young chicks in January.
