Fall in WA - Sidney & his new Lady

They really look like a nice couple! The girls are well, I love them so much, I havent had to mow my lawn or till my garden since I got them! And they love to eat slugs and jump for flies in the air, so full of personality! It is hard to tell in the pictures but the whitest one is slowly turning a light light brown what is that color called? They are still sleeping with the chickens for now but I am adding an external box like you suggested, and enclosing the bottom for them as well. Aww winter, do you keep their pool out all winter long? And do you think I should trim their wings soon? Or will they stay home? Thanks again!

Ahhh! They look so good! and they're getting so big too!

The odd-colored one is probably going to be just like the 2 girls that i have... I have no clue what color they are , STILL! Sidney is their daddy & Gaia(Self-Blue) is their momma so i think the combo of colors created a strange color. I posted pictures of the 2 odd-colored girls in a new thread today, Lillith & Linnea.

I do still have their pools out but only a few of them use it. Most go down to the creek for some reason.. i know it has to be colder than the pool, crazy birds. Their wings aren't grown in fully yet so you can't clip yet. when they're done growing you can clip ONE wing on each girl... there are also different styles of clipping too. a customer of mine prefers the Beauty clip because one of her hens has a really cute white feather on her wing tip

that style also gives the illusion of them having a full wing still.
