Can I feed my quails Family Farm Egg Maker. Has any one tried this ? Here are the Nutritional Infromation

Need more protein.

Not only do you need more protein, but I used this stuff on my chickens for a month. One of them had some sort of mystery illness and nearly died, (yellow urates, went off all food and water for 3 days), but the rest of the flock had developed blood in their urates after a month of eating it. It took my flock about a month to recuperate and go back to eating any layer feed.

Maybe it was just a fluke in the mix that I bought. But as far as I am concerned, this stuff is garbage and should not be fed to anything!! I would be careful with this feed if I were you. I am not the only one that has had troubles with this feed.

QUAIL DO NOT GET NEEDED COMPLETE NUTRITION FROM CHICKEN FEED... THATS WHY THEY MAKE VARING FORMULAS OF ANIMAL FEED. YOUR ADVERTIZED CHICKEN FEED IS WAY LOW IN PROTIEN WAY LOW IN METHIOINE AND LYSINE, WAY HIGH IN FIBER AND SALT

IN OTHER WORDS DONT HAVE HIGH EXPECTATIONS IF YOU DO FEED THIS TO THEM
