Family member has crossed the line in the sand(humorously)...so you...

When we were kids, mom & dad would leave us home to go to the grocery store. We would then play "pillow tag", using the whole house as the "field".
We had this little silk square pillow that would fly like a frisbee. We always put all the lamps, knickknacks and breakable statues down so as not to damage anything.
My brother was after me and I ran into my parents room and leaped onto the bed. The leg on the bottom right snapped off! And looking out the window here come mom & dad down the hill in the car!
I ran to the kitchen, grabbed the 6 pack of dog food and propped up the bed. My brother and sister were running around putting everything upright. Then we all flopped into chairs and pretended we had been watching TV all the time.

Mom mentioned that she could have sworn she bought dog food. (o: A week later when they went shopping again, we pulled out the dog food and propped up the bed with the leg. Mom sat down to put on her socks later that day and the bed collapsed.
She yels out..."Hon, I broke the bed!"

We said not a word...............until about 20 years later at a family dinner ROFL!

I used to work 2nd shift, and came home around 11:30 or later. I went in my boy's bedroom, and yelled "The bus is coming, you're gonna be late"! The jumped up, fought over the bathroom, got dressed, made their beds, and came into the living room with their backpacks. They noticed then that it was still dark, and looked at the clock. All they said was "Real funny, Momma", and went back and laid on their beds only covering with a blanket. The next morning, they just had to comb their hair, and they were ready for school. After school, the youngest one used his allowance and bought a Garfield alarm clock. Never had to wake them up again. GOod thimes!
