Fan next to incubator

Does anyone run a fan next to the incubator to help with humidity and circulation. This is the incubator we have. No turner and no fan inside. I used to do like 50% humidity until day 18 with about 50% hatch rate. Then I switched to 35-40% and got about 85% hatch. This time I can’t seem to get the humidity down to 35 or 40 even with the same amount of water setup. I’ve heard about running a fan, this is the only one I have currently. It’s pretty low powered but I can see the humidity has decreased about 5% since Ive turned the fan on. Please tell me if this is a bad idea? Or what I can do different? I also worry about the temp dropping because of the fan. So maybe increase the temp on the incubator to account for that?
