Fan or no fan? 3 week old chick's

Hey,
Forgive a first time mama chick owner. I asked about this the other day and just wanted to be extra sure that it's ok for me to put a fan on them during the day.
I live in Northeast Tennessee and it's been in the upper 80's to low 90's during the day. I have them in my garage with the door and side door open and the temp in the pen still says almost 100 degrees. I put a fan slightly on them a while ago and now it says about 85 degrees in the pen. I've read that they need to keep there body temp regulated so will a fan be bad?

I'm not real sure, still kinda new to this too. But we live in Texas so it's been in the 90s and we have a fan on in our coop. Our chicks range from 2 weeks up to 6 weeks. Haven't had any issues.

Our temperatures are hitting 100 now with no rain forecast for the next two weeks. I have big 36 inch barn fans going both during the day and at night along with swamp cooler in the brooder room. One fan blows thru the door to the brooder room and helps circulate the cooler air into the hen house. The other fan draws out the circulating from the henhouse back in to the barn.
Where the fan blows in to the brooder room, I have hung a square of plexiglass on one of the brooder cages with three week old chicks to deflect the direct force of the air.

I can't wait till I can move them to there own coop.
Should I leave the fan on at night?

If possible, try to set it up so the chicks can choose whether to be in the fan or out of it.
Then each chick can choose what is best for them at each time.

They regulate their body temperature by moving to a warmer place (under a hen, under a heatlamp, out of the path of the fan) or to a cooler place (out from under the heat lamp, into the path of the fan.)

I think a fan could be a good thing, as long as the chicks have a choice about where to be.

Do you have a heat lamp? If so, I would unplug it for the daytime! (And maybe leave it unplugged at night too, if the chicks do not sound unhappy.)

I didn't have the lamp off last night and they slept like little babies. This evening I shut all the doors to close up for the night and they started chirping really loud with the necks up and all. I turned the light back on and they stopped. Hmm. I switched it off again and they started chirping again. So, the light is on for now
I'll move the fan to where they can move around like they want to. I guess I'm so paranoid that something maybe happen to them. I over think everything. Silly I know

I put a night light in my garage last time so they had ambient light but not bright light. Seemed to work.

That's a good idea
Right now there's a 60 watt bulb for them. I'll try a night light.

Im a new chick mom, ours are 9 days old today. We just moved them from inside laundry room to their brood house. We live in South Ga already 105 feel like temp. I have been back and to checking on them. I just put a ice pack wrapped in small hand towel in there . They are staying on that thing! Just want to do right by them.
