Fan pointing in coop, or blowing hot air out?

We have a small prefab coop/“run” for our 4 chickens. They free range allll day, so they aren’t in there much. When they come in at night, the coop area is pretty warm. I’ve added ventilation to it, but I also got a solar fan. My question is; is it better to face the fan in the coop for a little breeze, or face it blowing out of the coop to suck out hot air?

I've found it better to place the fan down low, in front of a vent or opening, blowing INTO the coop and slightly upwards. Heat rises, and cool air is heavier. If you have upper vents or openings, the fan brings cooler air in lower, which forces the hot air out of the top vents. Alternative if you have few upper vents, place the fan directly in front of one of those vents blowing OUT. It'll pull cooler air in through the lower vents.

That's my set up in my Aviary, one fan up high on one wall blowing out and one on other side wall lower down blowing in. It keeps the cold air (if there is such a thing in this heat in NY now) coming in and the hot air up high being blown out.
I have at times strapped a/c filers onto outgoing fan on inside and inblowing fan on outside to catch the dust, feathers, etc, but that became a larger expense.
I also have about 6 small oscillating fans that run off the solar battery bank that just keep air circulating in general.
