Fan question!!!!

Scrounged a CPU fan (12v) and a transformer for it (120v to 12v).
Getting ready to wire this thing up, been following these instructions: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=8510

But, problem, I have 3 wires; red, white and black, coming off the fan. Which way do I wire this to the transformer?

is your bator an LG? Mine is I didnt make anymore holes in my bator...I used the tiny ones that are on the lid and inserted the fan cord through there.

Actually I carved a slot into the lid for the wire since I totally forgot to pass the wires through the air vents and was not about to wire it back up again (took me a bit to get this thing working)
