FAN TAIL PIGEONS

Hi thanks for all the advise so far. I just want to know how can I build a entrance for my fantails so that cats etc can't get to them once they have come in to roost. I am planning on letting them fly after 9 weeks in the cage is that too soon and how can I protect them at night.

the answer is no you cant build something that birds can get threw and a cat can not so if you want to let them free fly you run a chance of loseing birds only sure way is let them out when you are around and watch them fantails are not strong fliers and have limited site behind them
