Far behind in development?

I just got a giant incubator 2 weeks ago, a rite farms pro 264 cabinet incubator. It turns itself, it raises and lowers the humidity itself and all that jazz. It is a forced air incubator. However, 2 weeks ago I put in 6 Ayam Ketawa eggs and many other egg breeds. The Ayam Ketawa are all behind in development when I candled on Day 14. They look to be day 11? They are definitely alive with a lot of veins and moving around. I don’t think my incubator has hot and cold spots, and if so, how does it happen that my ayam ketawa are the ones that are..?

I will try to leave the Ayam Ketawa in the Incubator until it looks big enough to be on lockdown, but I am just so confused.

The first one looks to be an egg on day 6-9 development.
The air sac on the second one is in the wrong place.

Maybe it didn’t start developing for a few days. You can check it in 2-3 days to see if anything has changed, I doubt it will.

The air sac is in the wrong place. Normally the air sac is towards the bottom, not the side. I tried to get a photo for an example but my device is playing up. I’ll see if I can get one tomorrow for an example. Perhaps it’s just the way you took the photo that makes it look like the air sac is on the side of the egg (you can always hope).

Ok, I think it’s the way I took the photo… maybe… now I’m second guessing myself. Thank you for bringing that to my attention! Do you agree that I can leave the behind in development eggs in the incubator until they look ready?

You can leave them in there. I’d say if they haven’t changed after 2-3 days there duds. I also looked back at the photo, I think it’s me being blind (like normal), I do have to say the air sac does look a bit small, hopefully it won’t affect its development.
