Wow! I have a cockerel that was hatched on August 1st and he hasn't made a peep yet, so I was curious! I'm still hoping for a mute roo though. lol

He’s still young, maybe he’ll start in the spring. I thought my silkie was going to be mute, not a peep and he’s 8 months old! I’ve never seen him attempt to mate either.
