My parents wouldn't move out into the country in a million years. Me, however.......Ohhhhh I’m dumb
That sounds amazing, a lot of work but 100% worth it.I'd like to have minimum 10 acres in Maine. A barn would be amazing!!! I could turn part of it into a coop!
I was hoping to find one with some sort of shed already that I could turn into a coop of some sort. I was thinking a three or four bedroom house (one bedroom for me/so, one for kid 1, and one for kid 2 if I were to have kids) (I feel like living out in the middle of nowhere, being an only child would suck) (so I'd have at least two kids if i had kids)
I'd like to have majority pasture/field space, but having some undeveloped woods would also be great. That way I could save it from being knocked down if that ever came up.
My grandfather sometimes regrets raising me in the country because he says I’m “too redneck” but I really disagree with him.My parents wouldn't move out into the country in a million years. Me, however.......
That’s a good plan. What type of architecture do you wanna do?I'm going to be out in the country at the first chance I get. I'd like to secure a job that I can do remotely, with only occasional meetings, so that I can mostly set my own hours. I'm hoping to end up in some kind of mathy, architecturey position, something with math and design.

Yes.Wait- people eat squirrel?
That’s awesome! What about one in MA?I've discussed house buying with my dad, and my big takeaway is that a large country property in maine will be waaay less expensive than our property in CT right now
I see this as a win
