We are talking about using the farm to make money. Ideas include selling
eggs
chickens
mushrooms
microgreens
rose petals
bees

Legally I can't until I'm NPIP Certified, which the common charge to do so in Michigan is $300. Then Second year $150.

I've sold chicks to people from Michigan only.

Maybe you could use the money that was going to go to the new coop, to get certified?

All I have is $356.41 left after pre-ordering my Malay hatching eggs, & that needs to go towards chicken feed, & supplies.

I would also have to fill out an application for the job, which I never done before.

We have yard sales every year, so I can check those for a bike.

Plus I have no idea where our news papers are made.
