No, the best horror stories are the real ones (ok maybe I altered it slightly to be like... LOTR... slightly)....



Titan had always been a fine quail. A bit aggressive at times, but not that bad. On day though, a pure black creature which he later learned was a raccoon offered him a golden leg band. The One Legband To Rule Them All was what it was. Fueled by greed created by the One Legband, Titan starts multiple wars with the other flocks if quail. I could make this story much darker.....



Wait was a quail horror story or a quail LOTR...?

last night I went to candle MF's eggs & she had pooped in the nesting box - probably my fault, I dont think she had enough room - so I took the eggs inside to try to clean them up a bit and candled them and some were kinda sloshy and seemed the have color on one half long ways but not the other and SO was like that doesn't seem right... I'm wondering if she hasn't been turning them? but anyway multiple were like that & we were trying to decide if we should just give her all new unpoopy eggs or let her keep these. And SO didnt like that slosh look so we opened one of them and it was totally fine and definitely alive.
