I think it’s just the Marans, maybe not. I hope I have a blue/green egg in time for the egg basket contest!

I've been averaging 6 - 7 eggs a day so far.

I have 35 hens, & 7 pullets.

Only about maybe 5 hens, & 3 pullets are laying, but not on the same day.

I'm counting both LF, & Bantams.

I'm not sure how I've gone this long without eating duck eggs but I apparently haven't eaten them before and didn't even realize it??? I don't like them! They're weird!

I love the quail eggs, they tasted just like tiny chicken eggs...these duck eggs though.
That's all I came here to say, lol! I hope everyone is doing well! I've been so busy I've been missing chatting here on BYC!

I just started getting about 3 eggs per day again, lol. The whole flock went on strike this year and our old girls had a very hard molt. My poor English Orpington looked like a porcupine!
