Martha's leg looks weird so I made a board in injuries & thought I'd stop by!

My flock is ~35 now. I've had some losses, including my main rooster Avary

Spoiler: death story

who fought with Snowflake and would have recovered fine but The Spare Rooster (TSR) got cocky while he was gone & wanted to fight him while he was off his game - I separated them but forgot the holding pen roof had a hole so TSR got out and I guess ran Avary off. I didnt see Avary all the next day until nighttime when I guess the dogs found him in their yard and plucked him & he lived inside for a couple days and then passed. I probably should have done something more for him, but I've been pretty depressed lately so that didnt happen.

but otherwise I think things are really good. I have a ton of blue and green eggs, and someone is laying almost pinkish. They make the eggs for my game mix chickens look sad and small.
