How old are your birds?

9 months. They were laying but then light levels dropped, and I didn't get them into the lighted coop fast enough. I have a couple older birds, but they molted. I need eggs!

I don't supply my birds any Supplemental light. I get eggs from all my birds. What breeds are they?

Same thing happened to me, 18 of mine are 9 months and I don’t get any eggs at all.

I use supplemental lighting in my coop. I also sell eggs though. That's why I originally got chickens.

I just sold 2 dozen eggs a few minutes ago.

D'uccles and Bielefelders. Biels are known for laying late.

Yup. I'm tired of store bought eggs.

Yup. I'm tired of store bought eggs.

Yeah, D'uccles usually stop laying in colder weather. Mine usually do. I don't get eggs from the D'uccles until spring.

My Silkies lay through out winter, & occasionally go broody.
