I've just realized that a lot of my favorite tropes in books/movies involve character A sacrificing themselves (whether getting themselves killed or not) for character and character b freaking out over it and I'm not sure if that's what I'm supposed to like that or no lol

Ok based off of reactions my social anxiety feels the need to clarify that i really like the drama and also characters caring about each other, not the actual violence
