Yeah, that's one use for them.

Mine are gonna help make the walls of the coop once I build it. Help cut the cost by using those as free building materials. I'm still going to have to spend money on some 2×4s for a frame, & some plywood for flooring.

I need to get a fine tip stylus, I can't really see what I'm doing through my finger.

May I recommend getting a thinkpad? They're a laptop and a drawing tablet all in one! And they come with a stylus!
