@PearGirl, the sole reason behind us trying to get people straight on the Ameraucana vs EE thing is to not misinform people
if you spell it wrong and do not know how to spell it, you could lead other people into thinking that that is the correct spelling
many hatcheries label their EEs as Americanas, or something else that is NTO "Ameraucana", just to sound fancier
this leads to people buying those "Americanas" or whatever, thinking they get the pure breed ameraucana, when they actually just get Easter Eggers, which are mutts
hopefully this will convince you to try to spell ameraucana correctly
